April Theme Day: School
This is the third week my grandkids have been home from school because of the COVID-19 pandemic and it looks like this is the new normal for the rest of the school year. I had all 3 of them at my house for the first week, but then my daughter decided it was best for the two oldest ones to go back home in case we got locked down (they live about 4 hours away from me). My youngest grandson is only ten minutes away, but because his mother is still having to go to work, we decided it would be best if he stayed away from me until this is over. Fortunately, my son is able to work from home. My grandson is in the second grade and his school has an online portal so he can access his lessons from home. My son sent me this photo of him doing his schoolwork online yesterday. As you can see, the dress code is very lax!
The first day of the month is Theme Day in the City Daily Photo community. This month the theme is School. You can see other members' contributions to the theme by going to the CDP Theme Day portal here.

I'm glad to see you back and that you are well, Lois!
I can't imagine teachers switching to all these computerized lessons. And they're home with their own kids too!!
It's a crazy world. Good take for the theme.
I am happy you have found a way to cope with school and prayers for all of you and all of us as we wait to see what IT will do...
You can see how they learn intensively.
I like the picture! Glad you have less people around now, though I know you must really miss them.
Lovely to see you posting again …
Yes, all of our grandchildren are doing school work via computer lessons, and I must say their schools have been very good at setting lessons and tasks to do.
Stay safe and well.
All the best Jan
The photo tells the story, doesn't it?
It sounds like your life has been a little topsy turvy.
I hope you and yours can all stay well. I understand you're now under a shelter in place order. (We've been home for a couple of weeks now.) Difficult times!
I am impressed by how well students are adapting. Thank goodness for the internet.
Difficult times.
All the schools are closed here as well. Actually, most everything is closed down, even the beaches--How bout there? So weird to see kids doing school on computers, well we wouldn't even have dreamed of anything like that when we were kids, LOL. Hope y'all are staying healthy..take care and be careful!
The same here, all kids are home not in school anymore. It is a weird world!
Hello,
I have been wondering how the children like to be home schooled and how the parents are handling these changes. Kudos to everyone. Take care and stay well. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!
Hi Lois, sweet photo. A new norm for all the school children now. Take good care of yourself 😊
I was thinking about you the other day, probably saw something about Tallahassee in the paper. i hope you and all your family remain well. We left Florida the end of last month because we were afraid of lockdown. It’s chilly here in Oregon )).

Have agreat weekend
