I noticed these vintage items being used as decor on a shelf in a barbecue restaurant. Contrary to what that sign says, I did not order any of my food fried and it was tasty anyway!
the only way I can eat meat is fried. I am not a lover of meat, but can eat it fried... that said, I try not to eat fried, but at least once a week I do. as in French fries. yum.. I like all the items on the shelves..
Such fun old things from someone's past. I ordered broiled fish the other night, and the waitress came back to say she had ordered "bolled" but the chef put fried in the order, but she'd bring me the "bolled" fish to take home if I wanted. I looked hard at her, said I didn't understand, and he went through the whole thing again and I figured out finally that "bolled" was broiled. I ate the fried fish. So I got some very dried out bolled fish to take home.
The found some neat old stuff for that shelf! and me---oh YES!1--I do love fried food! ha ha LOL I also loved the previous post with the picture of the people waiting at the train station, that is so cool. Love their old fashioned clothing!
That sign sure made me laugh!!! We have an "air fryer". I tad more healthy but not as yummy as really fried. We seldom have fried stuff anyways, cause, you are right, food is yummy without, too!

...I do love fried chicken!
I wonder if they still make Mountain Dew? I rarely drink pop so have no idea.
Finally! Some old things that I am not quite old enough to remember. I wish rice and marshmallows came in a tin like this now!!
Been in a few tea shops that have displays like that
Quite retro.
I don't think I've ever drank Mountain Dew.

Now that's retro
I love displays like that. I am like you, I would have ordered the non-fried food, or at least I would have thought about it.
LOL, I don't eat a lot of fried food. It can be hard to digest.

Ha ha! Funny sign.
