Nafplio

I know the color of the water is stealing the show in the first photo, but the sky is pretty too! I took these photos this past summer in Nafplio, Greece. In the distance behind the boat you can see Bourtzi, a small Venetian fortress standing on the rocky islet of Agioi Theodoroi. We were able to enjoy this beautiful view while eating our lunch. I had some delicious stuffed grape leaves.

Linking to SkyWatch Friday.

I am trying to think of the Greek word for those delicious stuffed grape leaves, but my mind just won't process it! I know from personal experience they are delicious!

Hello,

Gorgeous water and sky colors, the first scene is beautiful. I have never tried stuffed grape leaves. Happy Skywatching! Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend!

Oh my goodness...what lovely boat, water, sky and distant architecture! And to enjoy it over stuffed grape leaves! These are a great combination, and the experience was probably even better!

you are right about the color of the water, wow is that beautiful... I have never had grape leaves, but these look a lot like collard greens, and I love collards... we have a Greek restaurant here, but I have only had gyros there, they do have this on their menu

Now that's what a call a wonderful view. Some years ago, I helped make dolmades with some friends of mine who have Greek heritage. That was a fun experience.

Absolutely love the first photo of the boat. The grape leaves look good too - my husband and I make them ourselves - tedious work but we make it fun.
