Peacock
It's not every day you see a peacock standing on the side of the road, so when you do, you turn around and go back to get proof. I'm sorry that the photo is not as clear as the video. This peacock was standing near a rural road just north of town. As you can see from the video, he decided not to stick around too long to have his picture taken.

Front
There was a weather front moving in just as the sun was going down when I took this photo.

Pale ale
This sign is being used as a decoration in a hallway of a local restaurant. I had to take the photo at this angle because I couldn't get far back enough directly in front of it without going outside and trying to take the picture through a window.
I want to wish my daughter a very happy birthday today! She's hitting a big milestone, but somehow I'm the one that's feeling old.

Antique
I saw this antique toy fire truck sitting on the counter while I was eating lunch at a local restaurant. My grandson wanted to take it home with him.

Hippocrates
A portrait of Hippocrates on the outside wall of the one of the buildings of the Florida State University College of Medicine. This is one of three works entitled The Triad of Medicine by artist Steven Weitzman. You can see the other two portraits and read more about the process he used to create these beautiful pieces on his website here.

Who are you looking at?
This duck was giving me the eye when I zoomed in to take its photo on Lake Ella.

Gulf view
I must confess I did not take this photo, my daughter did. She was staying at a hotel in Dunedin, Florida last week and walked across the street from her hotel to get a closer look at this view. The land you see in the distance is one of the barrier islands sitting between the shore where she was standing and the Gulf of Mexico.

See through boat
Hanging from the ceiling in the restaurant from yesterday's post of the patriotic fish was this small fishing boat. My youngest grandson was particularly fascinated with the see-thru window on the bottom.

Primitive
An old church building located just north of town near Havana. You can see the cemetery behind it. The more contemporary version of the Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church is nearby, just out of the photo. This building reminds me of the old wooden church my grandparents used to attend when I was a little girl.

April Theme Day: Yellow
My youngest grandson playing on the indoor playground at one of our favorite lunch spots. The first day of the month is Theme Day in the City Daily Photo Community and this month's theme is "Yellow".
