Election Day

It's Election Day in the US today. This sign was posted outside where I vote. I will be glad when this election is over and everywhere is a campaign free zone.

Yes. I wonder if we can come together or will the tribal mentality continue.

Hello, I am tired of the campaign ads too. Hubby and I will be going to vote later this morning. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day and the week ahead.

...we will all be thankful when it's over, but perhaps not with the results.

I would like to ban politicians from the face of the earth.. so tired of all the lies and cheats and people who never do what they say. I wonder if there is one honest one left. we voted 2 weeks ago...

Your country seems to be in constant campaign mode.

As RedPat says, constant campaigning seems to be the default in America.

From memory it used to be Bush but no doubt things have changed since I visited

Yes, I agree. I think most people know from the start who they will vote for, so I think the ads are more of a nuisance than a help.

This election is so important I can hardly think about it. Thanks for your support of the good guys, Lois!

People are very interested in this election over here and will be watching for the results. Good luck, Lois.

It goes on way too long. No matter what your politics are.

Thank you for all your nice comments, Lois. Hope you had a good time with your family in Orlando. I give you credit for driving I-75! Trilogy does a lot of advertising and they're selling a ton of houses here. Take good care of yourself! Oh, an congrats on having the "blog of the month" or whatever they call it. Very nice.

Didn't see a campaign free zone at my polling place today.

We mail our ballots in Washington state. I'm exhausted by all this. It's torture to stay informed these days.
