Looking up

I took this photo a couple of months ago at the park near my house while watching my youngest grandson playing on the playground. This is the same park I usually walk around for exercise, but with my fractured leg I obviously haven't been able to do it for awhile. My doctor gave me the OK to start putting weight on it this week and I have been practicing walking with my walker just in my house. Hopefully I'll be walking at the park again soon, but in the meantime I start physical therapy on May 1st and will keep practicing around the house. Things are definitely looking up!

Nice shot and best of luck with your therapy so you can start walking around with your grankids again.

Beautiful sky! And I think you should keep looking up, but don't forget to look down to avoid falling into a hole and then you'd have real problems! Just kidding, and I'm so glad that you are recovering nicely and will soon be back to your normal self!

That is good to hear about your leg, Lois! Soon you will be out running around again! ;-)

Recovery is wonderful, isn't it? Even a little at a time. I've taken the dog out three days in a row...though not because I needed to recover from anything other than the weather! The snow is finally gone (for now, we never know around here in southeastern Alberta) and today it was almost room temperature out there!
Keep up the good work and soon you'll be running races with your young grandson!

That's very good news! Don't push too fast or too far but I hope you're feeling more able soon.

very pretty blue sky! Glad you are up/moving around more and does it hurt to put weight on it? Still hoping for a fast and complete recovery for you so you can enjoy summer!
