Cat therapy

Since falling and fracturing a bone in my right leg three weeks ago, I have been home a lot and sitting in my wheelchair. I try to keep my leg elevated as much as possible to reduce swelling. Whenever I have it propped up like this, my sweet kitty Cecelia curls up next to it and usually takes a nap. I have to admit it is quite comforting!

So the old saying could be changed to "A cat is a man's best friend!" So sweet!

i am thinking she gets as much comfort from you and you get from her. we do with Jake, he comforts me if i am sad or mad, he knows when to do it.

I've always found cats to be a very comforting presence. It helps that they're unbearably cute too.

Those of us who have kitties are the luckiest of people. My kitty does the same thing. Even if she senses that I'm not feeling good, she will come by with her special loving touch.

Hope that the leg is healing well and that soon you'll be back out and about!

Have a great weekend with your family!

No better therapy than cat therapy or dog therapy!! I've read quite a few articles over the years where our pets can actually sense/feel/smell where our pain is, where we are injured, etc. Very interesting and in my own experience I HAVE often found them laying directly on top of injuries, illnesses, etc. Pretty weird, but there must be something to it?
