I've had this cactus for several years now and this year it decided to really put on a show. It used to bloom around Thanksgiving, but now it seems to bloom a little closer to Christmas. It was on the floor, but I put it up on that stool to get better photos and also to try and keep my teenage cat (she's almost 8 months old), Cecelia, from being too obsessed with it.

Hello, your cactus is beautiful. Lots of pretty blooms. Cecelia likes to stop and smell the flowers, that's cute.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
Wow, that is pretty spectacular. You must be doing all the right things for this plant.
It's beautiful! I sigh in envy because I do not have a green thumb and very few plants survive in my care!
Pretty Cecelia is enamoured with the blossoms!
Espectacular estas flores e gostei de ver este belo gato.

A beautiful cactus. They are so pretty when they decide to bloom. It took ours a couple of years to bloom. Cecelia gives her approval too.
...I had a nice one several years ago and I could not get it to flower the next year.
We call them Christmas cactus here, though mine's been known to bloom as early as November and through January and February. The colors of yours is gorgeous - mine's a much softer shade of pink. Cecelia has a good eye! Lovely shots.
It's beautiful!
Funny photos Lois, I love your interested cat. I have a cat that prunes my azalea...
Beautiful!
Have a wonderful day!
That is one gorgeous Christmas cactus! It's cute how Cecelia is so interested (not so cute I suppose if she decides to bat the blossoms off, or worse eat them)....
Gorgeous!!!
