My youngest grandson and I had some fun at one of the local pumpkin patches a few days ago. I love the way they look in the late afternoon autumn sunlight. We saw a few unusual ones (especially that blue one in the first photo), but he ended up picking out two of the white ones and one traditional round orange one to use for a jack-o-lantern.

Great pictures of the pumpkins!! Oh my!--I would've grabbed that blue one in an instant!!
It was nice to see so much of pumpkins in a single place...

You see them in all kind of different sizes and appearences.
...the warty one is neat!
my favorites are the blue and the lumpy ones, but they are all beautiful painted by the sunshine.. I just looked up and saw warty one, I like warty better than lumpy.
Very nice pictures, Lois !
We don't have pumpkin patches here so I really enjoyed this virtual visit!
Hard to miss the holiday with all the pumpkins around. You posted a great variety of specimens, Lois, and I love the "ugly" ones with the warts all over!
Hello, there are some that really stand out. Like the ones with the bumps.
I love the pumpkin farms. Fun times with your grandson.
Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
Great photos, Lois! We usually see only the smaller ones here.

They are so cheerful!
What a bunch of fun photos. I want to ask if you help your grandson carve the pumpkin and make a Jack-o-Lantern? I would help, but I can't get near a pumpkin as the doctor said I was already out of my gourd!
What a great display of pumpkins, all sizes and colours. I never knew that there were blue and white pumpkins, I never saw one until now. Nice photos Lois!
An imaginative real estate agent gave me my pumpkin this year, but I'm still not sellin'. :-)
When I was of a pumpkin picking age the choice was orange: small, medium, or large. I love how diverse they can be today. Some are downright amazing!
Always enjoy the pumpkin photos. You have great ones here. I have never seen a blue one before.
That's quite a variety!
Fantastic collection of pumpkins - love your photographs.
Yes, our grandchildren love visits to the Pumpkin Patch as did your grandson. Special times.
All the best Jan
