Do not block the alley

There are not too many alleys in downtown Tallahassee, but I found this one and it seems very well maintained. I like how you can see the beautiful brick in the wall of the old building on the left. It's easy to see that there must have originally been windows there at some time in the building's history.

Good to see the many lights, I guess they are for safety.

I would love to be able to walk through that alley I have seen them in movies and in pictures but I've never seen a real Ally this narrow. The bricks are just wonderful

A piece of history and a nice cut-through space, well-lit.

Not only is it well maintained but it appears to be well lit too! I do like that look of all that brick.

I'm reminded of brick walls here that have seen previous forms where windows or doors were as well.

The brick wall with arches where windows were, makes me think this was in an older city! The lights are very needful!

It's certainly well lit Lois, and very nice lamps they are! Wonder what this lovely old brick building was used for ✨

Maybe they bricked them up when the "new" building next door went up.

The bricks tell a bit of the history of the building!

I love this kind o f photos...so much of interest to see and think about. Got to wonder how it started out and what changed it and how much of it was changed. I won't block the alley, though, 'cause I hate getting towed with a rope around my neck!

I love your perspective here, and the stripe-y look of the building at the end. It looks like a pair of beautiful old brick buildings.
