Clouds and pastries

Clouds gathering behind the Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church. I took these photos when I was attending their annual Greek Festival a couple of weeks ago. As you can see from the second shot, I went a little overboard on the Greek pastries. They lasted several days in my refrigerator though and were all delicious, especially that Baklava Cheesecake in the lower right corner.

Linking to SkyWatch Friday.

Dear Lois, these photos are evidence that you have given your soul up to sweet decadence. The good news is that forgiveness is possible providing your send me duplicates of each of these treats in the next couple of days. + (That's not a plus sign but the sign of the cross just to remind you how grevious a sin you have committed and how very important it is for you to hie thyself to the nearest post office and get that stuff on its way to Ocala ASAP!) :))))

Love the looking UP with crosses and stormy skies.. had to speed scroll past the pastries so I would not gather calories.

Totally understand Lois, I have a soft spot for pastries also ☺ happy weekend.

At least you made them last over several days and didn't eat them all at once as I think I would be tempted to do. :-)

Two great images Lois. I remember a Turkish Festival when we were in San Antonio earlier in the year, and enjoying their pastries.

Your second photo is compelling evidence for attending Greek festivals whenever possible. I'm impressed that goodies like this lasted for several days. My sweet tooth knows no restraint when there are very tasty treats around.
