Flags
United States and State of Florida flags hanging over the walkway next to the Florida Retail Federation offices across from the state capitol complex downtown.
I hope this doesn't offend, but Florida has one ugly flag. I had assumed that this design was based on the Confed flags of old, but it's really just an alteration of a flag used by the Spanish Empire a long time ago.
Alabama is almost the same but worse
but Maryland has a pretty gaudy looking flag.
I'm from South Carolina, and while I'm not really proud of my state most of the time, we have a good looking flag.

Americans have something with flags, I have never seen so many as in your country. I hardly see any here around.
Yes, Americans do seem fond of their flags. We see lots of bunting but not so many actual flags. Whatever, they add cheer to the scene.
One needs lots of flags if you've got a lobbying operation across from the state capitol! :)
well now, I am shocked, I did no even know we have a retail federation...
...red and white with a patch of blue, I like it.
It sounds like that might a good place to display these flags!
Admittedly state flags would end up giving me problems trying to keep track of.
Nice to see them flying!
Great shots of colourful flags.
It has a very official look.
Flags always look nice flying. Here they are always flapping in the wind.
