This cute little
anole appeared to be posing for me, but also giving me a wary look as I was crossing one of the footbridges on the trail at the Okeeheepkee Prairie Park. It scampered off right after I took this picture. This anole is brown, but has the ability to change to a green color depending on where it is in order to blend in and avoid predators.

Hello, great capture of the lizard. If this is the same kind I see here, they are quick movers. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
He is a cutie! He has lots of relatives out in my part of the country.
Oh nicely captured! He looks pretty docile in your shot but i'm sure he's a fast mover!
one is living on a fake flower in my closet why > donot know
Quite a critter!
we have close to a zillion of these sweeties in our back yard. we love them. the bigger ones sit on the fence and I talk to them.. they don't even run from me now and I am betting we could make one a pet. he watches me especially with my camera. this one is a fine specimen
A cutie!
You took a great photo of him! We have some of his cousins here in Central FL! heehee! Hugs!
Excellent photo, Lois! I'm not sure I've seen one exactly like this. Very beautiful and so wonderful for our environment.
How Crisp and Adorable
Great little lizard shots. They are so fast so I bet it was a quick shot.
Excellent photo!
What a nice photo!
The closest creature I've seen at my house was a frog sticking on the side of my house. Didn't know it was a popular place to ribbit
He's a cool-looking dude!
You managed to take a photo just in time! What an eyecatching creature, Lois!
Lorelei would really find it interesting...
