Ice Skating in Florida
The ice rink at the Centre of Tallahassee opened the day after Thanksgiving, so I took my two oldest grandkids there while they were visiting me last week. So much fun!
So nice to have those ice rinks nowadays. When I was young we had to wait for ice for ages until the waters were frozen. That is because I never managed to learn skating properly. Always to short time until it started to melt.
They are a cute couple! And you are so lucky to have a skating rink. I'm not sure if Ocala is going to do it this year. Last year it was a small one with faux ice and didn't look like much fun. I used to love to ice skate when a wee lad.

I love the idea of bring ice skating to the communities that do not usually get it naturally. It looks like those cuties had fun.

they are so cute! we have an outdoor rink downtown but i've not skated in it, yet!
Ice skating is the only thing my husband misses from moving to Florida
It really does look like so much fun Lois.. do you skate ?
Ours opened last week too! I need to get down there to get some photos. Looks like the grandkids enjoyed the outing.
A good way to spend an afternoon and have some fun. Got your skates on Lois? :)
They look like professionals! :)
I haven't skated in years. I guess you never forget how - like riding a bike!
They look happy!
Had to smile at his turned ankles. Exactly like my first experience on skates. :-)
It does look like fun, it's been about five years since I've done it
