Simple advertising
Seen on the sidewalk next to Gaines Street in the mostly student oriented College Town area between the Florida State University and Florida A&M University campuses near downtown.
Kids these days ;)))! (We live in a college town here in Oregon and really enjoy the energy, diversity, and cultural opportunities the University brings to the area...). I'm just pretending to be an old curmudgeon....but I would stop short of calling death metal an asset ;))!

Can't say that I have ever listened to them. But, a fun way to create interest in their new album it is.
I hope they didn't have to pay pavement fees Lois 😊
it might be simple but not very good because I thought it was the name of the people who poured the pavement. until I read Stefan comment. great find
I've seen this done here a few times but, not for a rock band.
It is interesting and if this group is like most other heavy metal bands, I'd be glad to step on them. Heh, heh, heh!
Cheap advertising!
You see these kinds of advertisements a lot in certain parts of Berlin.
I've seen something similar here, but for classical music. I prefer the classical music to metal.
Did not know that this band was still around. I'm not a fan of death-metal music.
From the point-of-view of a cyclist, I'd say those grooves in the pavement are like Megadeth :-)
Stencil graffiti is popular!

Don't know if anyone looks down these days.
