Hummingbird

I took these pictures early yesterday morning through my back door window just as the sun was coming up. My back yard is full of hummingbirds right now, in fact they are fighting over this feeder so I think I will be putting up a couple more today. They also like to hang out in the blooms on the shrimp plant under my kitchen window putting on quite a show throughout the day for me and my grandkids.

Linking to Saturday's Critters, Camera Critters and The Bird D'Pot.

Hello, I think the birds are already heading south. Great captures of your sweet hummer. I think I may still have some hummers here that will be there soon. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Love the Hummingbirds!
We have 7 feeders. In mid-September we expect to see a lot more of them pausing to rest and drink on their way to Mexico.
Have a great week-end!

super shots of the hummingbird! We don't have them in N. Ireland so I always enjoy seeing photos of them!

Superb photos. I think these birds are very hard to capture but you did a wonderful job.

Re your comment on Ocala: Thanks for all the info. I think some people just like to make trouble, but then, again, some usages of names are offensive. It sounds like FSU is into using the Seminole name as a matter of pride and as a way of informing the public about some Seminole arts and beliefs. That's a good thing.

I wish we had them here, they are exquisite. I like the way you have captured the movement in their wings.

I like those hummingbirds, they look so pretty and their wings look like little engines turning around.

I've only seen one hummingbird at my feeders this summer. Perhaps I need a shrimp plant.
