Looking for treasure

After enjoying a walk around one of our downtown parks, I saw this gentleman using his metal detector to scan the ground for hidden objects. I was already sitting in my car, so I took these photos through the windshield.

Linking to Our World Tuesday.

O verdadeiro tesouro é aquela árvore imponente.
Um abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

Great shots, I hope he found a treasure or something. That tree trunk looks huge. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!

We often get these treasure hunters on our beaches...

I think this is a nice hobby for some folks. And you never know what you're going to find. Mostly stuff of no value but once in awhile you might get something good! Nice shots through the windshield. I hope you weren't driving, too, though! :))

I do wonder how often something worthwhile is found.

It brings back a lot of memories for me. I bought a nice "White" brand metal detector when the interest in them first happened and I spent a lot of time waving it back and forth across the ground but I never found more than a few cents and lots of beer can pull tabs.
