Mockingbird Couple

While waiting in a parking lot in my car the other day, I noticed these mockingbirds busy gathering nesting material from the moss growing on the trunk of this tree. I rolled down my window and was able to take all of these pictures without ever having to leave my seat. That's why I always try to carry my camera with me!

A peace offering no doubt. Must have had a disagreement over their new digs. :-)

And your photos are excellent! We have many mockingbirds in our yard and they are fun to watch. We also have a number of cardinals this time of year. And little birds but I don't know what they are. :)

Keep the camera going.

Hello, neat captures of the Mockingbird with the nesting materials. I do not think I have ever seen a baby mockingbird, that would be neat to find their nest. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

These are great shots, Lois! We never used to have Mockingbirds here but with global warming we now see them a lot.

You're smart carrying your phone with you at all time...that way, you don't miss 'actions of nature' such as this couple doing their parenting duties. How awesome is this?!!

Hope you have a terrific week ahead, and thanks so much for participating and sharing your birds for us at I'd Rather B Birdin'.

Nice pics! I have that same approach with deer, sometimes.

They run away if they see you, but not the car.

Nice work Lois, I think all we photo bloggers have a camera close at hand most of the time :)
