A little nap

This goose was napping by a tree at the edge of a pond in front of the courthouse I showed earlier this week.

These critters can nap anywhere. I've got a similar shot I'll be posting sometime soon, but you can clearly see the goose's eye watching me take a picture! Nice work!

To tell you the truth, I'm feeling a little sleepy right now too. :-)

Maybe he might need the tree to lean on later.

There are days when we all need an afternoon nap!

It seems like such an uncomfortable position to sleep in but, I have a friend who can fall asleep anywhere and in any position and get a nice nap.

Their necks must be so flexible, tucking their heads behind them like that.
