The foot bridge at Waverly Pond in the late afternoon sun. I'm not sure who left that stick you can see there in the second photo, but I put it back after I passed by. Also if you look to the left in the second shot, you can see a gazebo in distance. The third picture shows my favorite part of this bridge, a built in bench where you can sit and rest for awhile.

I like that built in bench. The foot bridge adds some country charm to the area.
There are so many of these walkways in Florida and I love them. The stick...well...I've heard there's a big green monster up in them thar parts! Be very, very careful.
love the built-in bench! when i had the deck redone, i had a few benches built in on it, too. not as nest as this, but still permanent. :)
that certainly is a ery solid bridge.
That bench is very nice indeed.
Great photos Lois. Looks like a sturdy bridge. Very pretty area.

That is quite a pretty bridge!
The "Ode to Billie Joe" and the Tallahatchie bridge popped into my head when I saw these photos. I'm not sure why.
I like the bench, too. Would love to be sitting there about now.
What a great spot to take a little break!
What a clever built-in seat on the bridge!
I'd love to rest on that bench and watch nature pass by!

That is a lovely bridge with nice fencing and yes that bench would be the perfect place to sit for a spell and enjoy the surroundings. Nice of you to put the stick back after you crossed over.
A nice wooden bridge!
