Azaleas

Here are some close-ups of the azaleas that were blooming on the bush next to the old fence I showed in my post yesterday. Some commenters were wondering about an azalea bush growing wild in the woods. I'm pretty sure this one was planted many years ago by someone who once lived on this land, but has long since moved away.

It's nice to look at so wonderful flower, and so nice color too.
We have to wait still some month before spring and flowers, we have still winter and snow.
Have a happy weekend.

A delightful sight! It'll still be a good while before we see flowers here.

these are just like my mothers and same color. her yard was full of them and they were taller than my head.. they destroyed them when they bull dozed her house to build a bigger better faster congested road

Passei para uma visitinha.
Cultivadas no jardim ou selvagens na floresta são sempre lindas!!!
Bom fim de semana, com tudo de bom!
Beijinhos.

It must be just enough warmer here in Ft Myers to keep Spring flowers from doing well. I never see azaleas any more... And of course we grew them in Oregon in our other life. (I get a little homesick this time of year.)
