A Walk in the Park
Some pictures from one of my walks last weekend at San Luis Mission Park. The bird in the first two shots is a Yellow-rumped Warbler. That's a Robin in the third shot. I'm pretty sure that's a Red Eared Slider turtle in the last photo going after some some bread that had been thrown in the water. That yellow stuff in the water is pollen, which is why I haven't been able to stop sneezing this week!

A precious source of nice photo ops!
Great images of the birds. Must sound lovely with all the birds talking/singing.
Such beautiful shots! I do miss seeing robins.
Hello, the Yellow rump warbler is a pretty bird. I have been seeing robins all over the place lately. Cute turtle. Great critter post. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy and have a happy weekend!
The robins here haven't shown up in the city yet, but out in the countryside I've heard from others that they're out there.
cute little birds and I really like the turtle shot, love the greens of it all. our pool has a scum of yellow all over it and we are both sneezing our heads off, so is the dog
Love the find things to photographs when you go for a walk. Have a good weekend.
It is so hard to get pics of warblers - they never seem to stay still!
I have seen one Yellow-Rumped Warbler here, but did not get a good photo. Great to see yours!
The park provided you with some beautiful photo opportunities.
Great walk Lois. I saw my first Florida robins ever recently. I'd thought they must not migrate this far south .. They're really common in Oregon.
Lovely shots on your walk. It looks like it was a beautiful day too.
lovely shots of the birds!
So, so cool!!! The Butter Butt [yellow rumped warbler], the robin...signs of Spring. It's in the air.
And that turtle image, such clarity. Wonderful. I'm enjoying the walk in the park with you Lois.
Thanks for sharing this weekend, at I'd Rather B Birdin'. All of us, the birders within us, appreciate you taking time to add your link!!
Gosh! Well, you're weeks ahead of us.
Cute little critters! Hope your weekend is going well.
What great photos of the warbler. We have them here and love seeing them in our feeders! Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Diane
You made some beautiful photo's of the birds!
Beautiful photos! I have learned to ID certain birds through people's blogs, and the yellow rumped warbler is one. Beautiful post!
I hope that there are robins when I get home
Lovely photos, Lois. I especially like the robin. We don't seem to have very many robins down here.
Lovely critter post Lois. I have never seen a yellow dumped warbler before.
Looks like the park is a haven for all kinds of small birds Lois, love the little splashes of colour on all of these wee critters!
Hello Lois!:)Your Warbler captures are wonderful, it's a new bird for me, and such a pretty bird.
Lois, these are just beautiful... What a great park. We are seeing a few robins here too and this is the first time we've seen them in Florida.
