Restored 1929 Model AA Ford Truck
I took these pictures of DOT 1, a fully restored 1929 Model AA one-ton Ford truck that has been owned by the Florida Department of Transportation for over 30 years. It had been on display for the Department's centennial celebration earlier in the day. These pictures were taken behind the FDOT state headquarters building right before they loaded it into another truck to be transported to its next destination. The last picture shows what the truck looked liked before it was restored.

That is a very nice preserved truck.
Hello, it is a cool truck, a great display for the centennial celebration. I am glad it was restored. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
Wow, beautiful !
Beautiful photos, Lois! And what a nice truck. When I was little, I'd visit my grandmother on her farm in northern Minnesota. One of her neighbors drove a Model T. That wasn't unusual in those days and I learned how to crank engines to get 'em started! Those are good memories. Thanks.
That has been lovingly restored!
Great work of restoration, splendid vehicle!
Wow! Well worth restoring!
that's a nice old truck!
Amazing what a restoration can do!!! Hmmmm wonder if there's a restoration for people that looks that good and would last this well!! Well probably not one that's affordable for most -- trucks or people!! Great capture for the day, Lois, as always!! Hope your week is going well!!
What a cool find Lois, indeed a treasure! This just the kind of stuff this guy loves. Thanks for sharing and I hope that you return again with more treasures.
A first class restoration job!
very impressive vehicle and a superb job in restoring it. The people involved must be proud.

Gosh! She looks better now than the day she rolled of the factory floor.
