The weather was beautiful this past weekend and I took a long walk on several of the trails at a new park that just opened near my house. I almost missed seeing this abandoned house in the woods, but fortunately looked over in time to get a few pictures.

Hello Lois!:)Love these shots, with good compositions and subtle colours. A hidden gem for a photo opportunity.
Excelente trabalho e belas fotografias.
Um abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.
It is almost invisible, gone up into the woods. Spooky view.
Abandoned and yet still appears sturdy
Goodness! Well spotted Lois, this poor old abandoned building is so well camouflaged! Scenes like this always make me wonder what the story is, there has to be one! Beautifully captured.
I wonder sometimes how long it would take the woods to take over my house if it were abandoned. That one is almost invisible. Let us know what it looks like in a year or more.
Hello, what a neat old place. I love the bid old tree! Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
if walls could talk. this is really interesting to me. i would love to see it.
How wonderful to have a new trail open near you!
If that old building could speak...

Barely visible !
Great shots of this place. It looks like nature is about to consume it.
I love these shots! One of my favorite photographic activities is to find such abandoned places and photograph them. Wishing you a great Tuesday!
Almost completely back to the nature...
I always wonder how thinks I mean homes and such could be just abandoned----I mean somebody somewhere still owns them don't they?

One wonders how long it can last.
Lois, this is right up my alley. Natures has a way of reclaiming what man makes and abandons. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more treasures from Florida.
I'm glad that you caught it, Lois! Great shots.
Fabulous! If only those walls could speak!
The stories this house could tell... Beautiful pictures.
Nice find! It looks like its been there for a very long time.
My retirement home. :-)
What a find and great photography !
Happy Week to you ~ ^_^
Wonderful views! If only that house could tell the tales it has seen.
Oh, Lois, I love them...each and every shot.
It looks kind of spooky to me.
How easy it would have been to miss this old building - if only the walls could talk.

Up here in our COLD neck of the woods we have lots of these old places consumed by the briars and the brambles. I am always afraid to get too close to them when we are out walking and hiking because of my fear of old hidden wells. This one is a great one. I think it is still standing because it is being held up by the bushes.
This makes me a little sad...
Never knows what might to find in the forest.
Very lovely photos.
Wow that old abandoned home was well camoflauged. I'm glad you spotted and shared it. Sad that it's gone to such disrepair but it has a hauntingly beautiful quality to it now as well.
Oh, I really, really like this!
