I took this picture of an antique fan in the master bedroom of the main house at the Goodwood Estate, which began in the 1830's as a cotton and corn plantation and has since been restored to what it looked like in the early 20th century. I'm not sure if the fan still works, but I'm sure those blades made quite a few revolutions back in the days when there was no air conditioning in our hot and humid Tallahassee summers!
