There is a brand new mural on the old city waterworks cistern and it looks great! I previously posted about the historic waterworks
here and
here. To read an interesting article about how this mural came to be, visit this

The bright colors certainly catch my eye! Nice find.
Wow, this really stands out. Great mural Lois.
Beautifying utilities is a grand way to use murals.
Sure jazzes up the old cistern. Tom The Backroads Traveller
pretty funky!
I love it! I does look great!
Adding murals to what can be very ugly structures is such a great idea to add some color. Great mural!

Surely does improve those old, gray cisterns!! Colorful and fun and great captures for the day, Lois!!
I like the color combinations. It looks good.
Wow, very eye-catching !
That's a good way to brighten up what would otherwise be a dull structure.
Not a masterpiece, but very nice!
Definitely eye-catching! I have sometimes been told that I'll take pictures of anything, even something that doesn't seem picture-worthy. In this case, I think the artist will paint most anything!
This is really great!
Not only is the mural great, but I also like the cistern!
Brightens the neighbourhood, Lois!
Very interesting!
I love it -- the colors are so cheerful! What a nice way to liven up an otherwise "blah" cistern!
Beautifully done!
The building's shape and the colors remind me of Mongolian yurts.
It's awesome how a little paint can turn a potential eyesore into a piece of art.
So much better than a plane old cistern Lois, excellent find.
Somebody likes bright colors!
