Supreme Court

I was downtown over the weekend and I forgot how much I like this building, especially the columns. The Supreme Court of Florida is located directly behind and west of the Florida Capitol. I took this picture from across the street while standing on the steps leading up to the Capitol.

Very stately looking. Public buildings like this are just better when they're grand. :)

Impressive building though I have to say that the older I get, the less I'm impressed with supreme justice be it here or in the US.

Gorgeous and a great shot, Lois!

Nicely framed shot! They just don't make buildings like this anymore. The time and craftsmanship put in is remarkable. So much more pleasing to look at than the modern steel and glass of today.
