SkyWatch Friday: Hanging by a Thread

This Spanish moss has a small dead branch tangled up in it and is barely hanging on to that oak tree. This picture was taken just as the sun was going down. Linking with SkyWatch Friday.

I like how you've caught the moss dangling there with a twig caught in it. The sky behind it is lovely!

It will tumble to the ground one of these days soon.

Cute. At least when this happens it's easy to pull off. I've been told that Spanish Moss is not harmful to trees, but I don't believe that.

Now I am curious. I wonder if Spanish moss has the ability to grow upward to heal itself.

Funny picture, don't think it will hang there for ever.

Imlove to look at hanging moss, because it is not an everyday thing to this Northerer. You, probably get bored.
