Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)

Here are two more shots from my guest photographer, my son, taken in downtown Bonifay, a small town just west of Tallahassee. I'm not sure about the barber pole, but the flag is there because it was Memorial Day weekend. Linking with signs, signs.
I like those cowboy boots.
Looking at the other side of the globe really like this style.
It actually comes to a barber and not a shoemaker?:)
did you get yourself some boots?!!
Your son does good work. Justin is a famous name among boots. But there's just a wee bit of incongruity about a Western World shop in Florida! :) Seriously, I think a lot of people are unaware of Florida's cattle ranches and attending cowboys.
What a fun sign for the day, Lois!! I love it! Enjoy your day!!
I love this kind of signs!
Justin....world famous cowboy boots!
Oh don't let me loose if there are Justin boots... :)
Barber shops and boots.. a good combination Lois :) Well done to your son for the shots.
Thank you, Lois, for the comment and the link. How fortunate you have a direct connection to cattle ranching in Florida. Loved that picture! They look like cowboys should look! From your previous comments on other blogs also I've concluded you're a font of knowledge about Florida or at least central and north Florida....maybe you ought to do a book?
Looks like a fun place to mosey on into...
Wow, that is huge!
Love the boot - so much more fun than just a regular sign!
That is a big boot to fill!
Nice! I have a pair of Justin boots. They are great, but it is kind of hard finding an excuse to wear cowboy boots in central Connecticut.
I love original signs like this one!
wow that's a big boot
I like these boots!
Good ol' Justin Boots. Love the sign. MB
I've never heard of Justin boots. I feel left out... but I see they are available in Canada, thought it seems to be mostly a western thing :)
