Outdoor Amphitheater

The new outdoor amphitheater located in Cascades Park near downtown. The tall building behind the trees in the background is the Florida Capitol. If you enlarge the picture, you will see the dome of the historic old Florida Capitol building just to the right of it. The old Capitol has been restored to its 1902 appearance and serves as a museum. I have previously posted pictures of both buildings here.

That is a nice place to hang around.

Love the amphitheater! And what a cool park. It would be a great place for an evening concert on a not-too-hot evening!

I just had a thought: The new capitol building could also be a museum what with all the crusty, ignorant, nasty critters that inhabit the place! :))

Hi again. I know how much you loved being with your grandkids. I can understand why you miss them so much. You'd have to to drive all the way to Gainesville to spend time with them! :)

I can see the old dome in the photo. In fact that photo is great all blown up.
