Listen to the Mockingbird

This little bird was standing on this sign singing his heart out when I was parking my car, so I just had to get a picture even if it was through the wind shield. The mockingbird is Florida's state bird. Linking up with Wild Bird Wednesday.

They can be quite aggressive, but I do like their song. :)

Hi Lois, I'm very happy that I can meet you.
In the early 19th century, my grandfather's older brothers also emigrated to the USA. My grandfather was too small so he was. Therefore, I also live here still. I do not know what happened to the brothers grandfather, where this family.
I read that in Tallahassee 1.5% of the population declares Polish origin. And if anyone of you speak Polish?
Best wishes :)

While at Ohio State in Choir we sang a song about the Mocking Bird. I can always hear that lovely tune in my head when I see a Mocking Bird.

Another good reason to keep your camera on the passenger seat while driving around. Nice one.

They are a great sounding bird - and I saw my first one recently on a trip to Arizona - and I thought they looked OK as well!
