Columns

This is another picture taken by my son when we were in Bonifay over the weekend. This old house sits right on the main street through town and I was attracted to it because of the columns, which I just love. I like the two chimneys on each side too. The house was probably occupied by a family at one time, but now it is owned by the church next door and is used for church functions.

Your son did a sterling job on this trip Lois :) The columns give a real 'stately' feel to the house don't you think ?

Families were big in the old days!

It is an elegant old beauty. Looks like something out of a movie set in the 19th century.
