Sportsmanship
This sculpture entitled "Sportsmanship" was created by sculptor Edward Jonas. It is 15 feet tall and weighs one ton and is located on the west side of Doak Campbell Stadium on the Florida State University campus.
I do agree with all the others, Lois! But I have to admit that I can think of lots of people I'd rather see honored with statues than football players/coaches.

All athletes need to be reminded about this every now and then. Very nice!
It's very appropros and as Hilda says much needed; especially in these times when winning at any price seems to be the goal of almost every endeavor.
Hilda is right, but it is the parents who ofen need to be reminded.
I bet many people at Penn State wish that they had a statue like this outside their stadium, rather than a statue of Joe Paterno.

A very distinctive looking sculpture!
