Knott House Dining Room Reflections
All of these pictures were taken in the dining room of the Knott House. The third picture is a china cabinet and right after I took this shot, I turned around and stepped backwards towards it and the door on the right side slowly opened by itself. I didn't even realize what had happened until one of the people in our tour group said "I think there might be a ghost in this house". Before I could get another shot, our tour guide laughed and quickly closed it. I think that when I stepped near it, the pressure on the floorboard caused it to open, but who knows? Maybe it was Luella Knott, beckoning me to take a closer look! To see more fabulous reflections from all over the world, please visit Weekend Reflections.

Oh I'm definitely going with your theory Lois, much more exciting :)It is so interesting to see these detailed shots, what a chandelier!
I think she knew you wanted a closer look...makes a better story anyway)))! She probably was (seriously) very proud of her collection .
It was definitely Luella wanting to show you more.
Such an incredible, old house and your captures are terrific, Lois!! I'm sure the ghosts are delighted with your attention!! It's been such a great visit -- almost as good as having been there myself!! Thanks for sharing! Have a beautiful weekend!!
Wow. The furniture and everything in it is so beautiful! I wish I had more of the items my Mom thought were old fashioned and discarded. She had big old furniture, but got rid of it when they built a "new modern house" in the 1950's. Now I live in a big old house (for 35 years) and would LOVE to have some of that big old furniture.
That is such a cosy flat... Those furnitures are really precious.
That is a very cosy place, and those furnitures are so precious !!! A perfect choice for the week indeed...
I don't think I'd want to leave such a place, so if one of the late residents happens to still be around, so much the better.
That chandelier is quite remarkable.
Love the pattern the chandelier's light makes on the ceiling!
