Another interesting gravesite in Roselawn Cemetery. I'm sure the red bench, the multi-colored rooster and the red Mickey Mouse shaped decoration must all have some kind of meaning. Visit
Taphophile Tragics to see more interesting photographs from cemeteries all over the world.

How unusual. I wonder what the rooster signifies.
Beneath Thy Feet
It looks as if someone is "happily" remembered. Nice.
What an interesting grave site, Lois! Would love to know the story behind this one! Terrific post for the day!
That is truly fascinating! What doth it all mean? Maybe the person worked at Disney or on a farm with chickens. The red bench is a puzzler. Great find, Lois!
Stuff like this makes you wonder.
A strange place, I would like to use this bench for my bench blog...
I guess this is a child's grave. Love the bright piece of color with that red bench. It's just sad that anyone has to lose a little one. :(
Micky's dead, I didn't even know.
someone certainly liked the colour red.
I love bench pictures and that red bench is very interesting!

Golly, yes, this is intruiging, Lois. The only thing that comes to mind is how close you are to Disneyland. I wonder perhaps if the deceased was part of an animation team within Disney Enterprises. That would account for the MM ears and even the rooster which is eerily reminiscent of the rooster in the 1939 Silly Symphony 'Amimal Kingdom' which I watch with my grand-daughter. Lovely to see one-off memorials like this.
Thanks once again for participating.
