Cemeteries are filled with many stories.

How very sweet. I really like creative grave markers that reflect the personality of the deceased. I am not too fond of the cemeteries that require flat tombstones.

Nice image!

Very sweet capture Lois, wonder if it's a child's grave.

A cute little figure that seems to represent the spirit of the person there!

Cute, it is surely on a child's grave.

Little angels are always the cutest!

Re your comment about me and Birdman. I'm sorry to say, but he's just full of it. I know Meg really well and she's not about to go to Portland, Maine to see him. Furthermore we have a date for coffee again this coming weekend here in Ocala. :-)

It's sweet that someone placed this little angel here --- is it a child's marker?

Thank you so much for joining into our Taphophile Tragics meme, Lois. Your contribution is most welcome.

To me this cherub and it precious cargo, represents the fragility of life, especially the life of a child that is cut off before it has barely begun. I often find lambs on the marker of a child, too.

I hope the day with all the grandkids went okay, and that now you can have a day of rest.
