Sunflower

Yesterday while waiting for my granddaughter's teacher, I noticed this pretty sunflower growing next to the school. It was a lot taller than me!

They can be very big indeed, you almost looked him in the face!

Another reminder why one should always carry a camera. A bright, sunny, sunflower can warm the heart!

The wild sunflowers around here are beautiful, I think yours tops them all.

This is a lovely photo, Lois, no matter that you're shorter than the sunflower.

Very pretty! I love sunflowers and we enjoy growing them, but I don't have any this year since I wasn't home at the right time to get them planted. Maybe next year when our schedule reverses (as it does every year.) ;)
