Shadow Shot Sunday

An oak tree casts its shadow on a marker honoring Florida Veterans of the Viet Nam Conflict at Lake Ella. This is my first time participating in Shadow Shot Sunday.

I don't know how you guys participate in theme days of the week! I can barely get a photo up everyday, much less with the constraint of a theme. Nice work!

A simple, yet effective monument to those who lost their lives. I really like it. :)

You've picked a good photo for it, Lois.

Thanks for your comment at Portland Oregon Daily Photo. It's so true!

It's a very simple monument. I don't see many Vietnam-specific memorials.

This is a terrific shot with which to kick off your participation in the theme day! The Vietnam vets often got the short end of the stick!
