Shadow Shot Sunday
An oak tree casts its shadow on a marker honoring Florida Veterans of the Viet Nam Conflict at Lake Ella. This is my first time participating in Shadow Shot Sunday.
I don't know how you guys participate in theme days of the week! I can barely get a photo up everyday, much less with the constraint of a theme. Nice work!
Such a lovely shadow shot, Lois, and welcome to the weekly fun! Once you start looking for shadows you're amazed at how many there are and you'll see them everywhere!! Have a beautiful day!!

Interesting pattern.
The Shadow knows.

Nice shadows on the marker. Glad you decided to join in on the Shadow Shot fun.
A simple, yet effective monument to those who lost their lives. I really like it. :)
You've picked a good photo for it, Lois.
Thanks for your comment at Portland Oregon Daily Photo. It's so true!
It's a very simple monument. I don't see many Vietnam-specific memorials.
This is a terrific shot with which to kick off your participation in the theme day! The Vietnam vets often got the short end of the stick!
Welcome to Shadow Shots! It's very nice that they give importance to the Veterans.
