Poker anyone?
I noticed this sign behind a restaurant in town. Gretna is a small town just west of Tallahassee and apparently they have a poker room there along with barrel racing.
Isn't is strange how in just a few years all the conservatives in Florida have embraced all kinds of gambling? I am astonished. Even the Southern Baptists! This kind of thing would have had them in an uproar just 20 years ago!
I'm not into it, either. I think it's interesting how gambling is becoming legal in more and more places. It's a statement on society, I guess. I have no need to gamble, but the nearby casino here has great dinners in their restaurant. ;)

No poker for me, but the sign is nice.
At least it's not glaring at you like the flashing neon ones we have at the surrounding casinos.

It doesn't look like the poker place is getting much new business from your blog. I'm passing, too.
