Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
This is very nice. I love all the windows. The main Marion County Library is quite attractive also. Maybe there's an attractive architect out there working with the counties in Florida? :-)
WOW! With the totally blue sky and the clean lines, this looks more like an artists rendering than a photograph. Love it!
I like the crisp clean lines against that gorgeous blue sky. Our skies are hazy and orange right now - due to smoke from forest and grass fires in central Oregon. Sigh.
I like the glass too. I think the local branch library here is not book friendly. There are places to sit and read but not comfortable and most would be mortified to find someone dozing off.
What a wonderful library and I, too, love all the windows! It's perfect against your BLUE skies, Lois!! Hope you're getting ready for a great weekend!
There is nothing like a new library.
They did a great work in this building, it looks beautiful,I like the geometric walls and the glasses, lots of sunlight inside and what a fabulous blue sky!HugsLéia
It looks so bright and airy! Nice to see the libraries being fixed up!
That looks very, very new. Great to see you have such a nice building for the library.
This is a nice looking building, Lois. Very clean lines, but the zigs and zags break it up well. And BIG windows make it seem very open and airy. Nice!
Very interesting. It looks so modern. I'm so used to libraries being in old, often ornate buildings.
Wow -- nice looking building. Hopefully, they'll be able to keep all those windows sparkling clean.
Nice modern look.
When you pull the image in closer Lois you can almost see what's going on inside through the big windows..what a lovely sky, ours is grey and cold here in Perth.
That's exciting!! Love going to the library.
Beautiful modern look, very nice photo too.
