Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
A cool flower pot compliments of mother nature! I like it too!
It looks like there used to be a tree that provided a lot of shade. I vote in favor of planting a replacement tree.
I'll take the tree!
I love the flowers! Looks like a lovely place for a picnic! Hope your week is going well, Lois! Enjoy!
Definitely different from the usual stumps!
It sure helps to plant flowers and greenery on it!
Someone had the ingenious idea to plant flowers in the rotten stump:)Nice shot, Lois
Looks like it's covered in Spanish moss...maybe fallen from the tree when it was cut down. The ferns and the wee flowers are quite pretty!
It is interesting that you have a Harry's in Tallahassee...we've not eaten there but I've heard it is quite good. We'll have to try it sometime soon.
Doing it this way probably hastens the decaying process.
At least they're trying.
Its beauty is in the disturbing pile of overgrown sprouting from its base, I love it!!-Carlos Hernandez
