This picture shows more detail of one of the historic stone Cottages at Lake Ella. Most of them house locally owned businesses in midtown Tallahassee. This one belongs to Glasswork by Susan. The cottages were built in the 1920's and 1930's as part of the Tallahassee Motor Hotel. Most of them back up to the shore of Lake Ella.

How quaint!
That is nice they have preserved them well and now uses them as little art shops.
My sister in law has some of her stained glass work. You can draw a picture and she will make it for you!!

These cottages are so cute and cozy! Glad they've found a second use. :)
I like this rock design.
I can imagine how they were as part of a motel group Lois, especially if the cottages have lake views.
What a delightful looking cottage and a fun place to shop I'm sure! Love your shot for the day, Lois! Have a beautiful day!
How lovely!
I like that little building.
Okay, we've got to visit Lake Ella. Love stone and this cottage looks like something out of a fairy tale.
I do remember traveling with my parents as a youngster and staying in these little cottages at various motor hotels. That was in the midwest, though.
