SkyWatch Friday
This picture is a little sad to me because up there in the right corner of the picture you can see the silhouette of a little bird peering out through the huge windows in the upper level of the Governors Square Mall. He and a couple of his buddies are trapped in there and spend their days looking outside instead of being outside. There are several fountains and a food court though, so they seem to be able to survive. To see more lovely skies from around the world, be sure to visit SkyWatch Friday.

Wonderful geometric lines and such a perfect blue sky!

Lovely photo Lois. I'm always sad to see little birds trapped inside.
Yes. A beautiful shot! I have noticed that there seem to be more birds than ever in the mall. I wonder if entire generations are being raised there.
I like the framing here... oh ya, and the blue.
this sky is not free
a pretty shot lois! and i hate when little birds get trapped like that :(
Nice! I love how birds always end up in the mall; I can't figure out how they're getting in!
What a super photo! I found this same thing inside the Orlando airport. Only there were a bunch of different kinds of birds, chattering away, swooping down and around the people. Fascinating to watch.
It's a terrific shot Lois! We have birds trapped in malls here too, but like you said, they seem to be able to survive.
It is a sad note!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Nice shot Lois! Great rhythm and symmetry. And the sky and clouds look pretty too :^)
Nice shot Lois. I hope these little guys get free.
Very cool composition, Lois!
I like this!:)
It's a super image Lois, but couldn't some 'bird society' or animal group try and rescue these little birds and set them free?
