Mobile Employment



I noticed this truck parked downtown a couple of weeks ago before the annual Veteran's Day Parade.

There's a mobile employment office that moves around parts of Sarasota. I'm not sure how successful it is placing people.

I am guessing it was there to match veterans with jobs. But maybe not.

Obviously, any effort to assist people (including vets) find jobs is a good thing. I'd be curious to know if this is a private outfit or connected with the state government.

I guess I'll do a little checking on-line.

Re your comment on "Canopy Oaks": I've often wondered how many names for things or places contain the word "oaks." Must be millions in Florida alone! :-)
