Red Wolf

This red wolf looks almost like he is posing for a picture. He really blends in well with his surroundings. There are two of them at the Tallahassee Museum.

You almost see the contrast between the background and the colour of the woolf. He was willing to pose for you beautiful.

you could easily miss him out in the wild!

We still (again, actually) have some wolves and bears in the mountains north of Barcelona. But they are extremely shy, and avoid people. How right thet are.

Great photo. Just to let you know, our neighbor spotted the Coyote in her backyard last week. We are thinking it's the same one from last year.

Really? That's very cool.

I guess they aren't dangerous then.

Thanks for the heads up on the coyote Darla! I'll tell my daughter.

Two of them? Just out and about. That's interesting. Thanks for the photo and the info.

You're right Lois, the dappled light is a great camouflage for him. Good shot.

I think wolves are beautiful but I'm fearful of them. A good friend of ours runs a wolf sanctuary near Conroe, Texas (outside of Houston)...I'd guess she has 15-20 wolves and they are so gentle and loving! Very interesting.

Good subject to photograph. He does look like he is posing.

What a great shot! I am surprised he didn't run.
