Fishing

This egret was hanging out at Lake Ella while my grandson and I were feeding bread to the ducks. We thought he was eating the bread too, but then we noticed he was much smarter than that. He was waiting for the tiny fish in the lake to feed on the bread and then snatching them up for his lunch. I really tried to get a shot of him eating a fish, but he was too quick!

So your grandson was feeding the fish as well as he ducks, and facilitating the circle of life.

These are gorgeous photos, Lois. The colors are perfect and that egret is tack-sharp! He's one smart fisherbird, too!

Terrific shots! The 1st capture is really funny - like the bird is saying "Hey, what's over there?"
