Weekend Reflections
While standing behind the band at the FSU game last weekend, I noticed some tuba reflections! To see more interesting reflections from around the world, visit Weekend Reflections.
Clever, Lois! Your marching band pics are getting me excited about the college football season. My alma mater plays it's first game of significance today: Michigan State at Notre Dame. Go Green!!
When I played trombone in junior high I liked to see the reflections in the bell of my instrument, which sat right in my line of sight as I played. I don't think tuba players can see the reflections in their own instruments.
Ah, yes, they qualify. Big game tonight. I will mainly be watching Ohio State - Miami (Go Bucks!), but will check in on FSU from time to time. Good luck.
How fun. I would have loved to see a close up of one of these with the reflection, or maybe zoom in to get just three as I really like the curve and shape of those instruments. Looks like you had a great day.
