Horses having their breakfast in the shade of these beautiful old oak trees just as the sun was coming up. I stopped and took their picture on my way to take my grandson to school last Friday morning. To see more fascinating critters from around the world, visit Camera Critters.

Beautiful picture, almost a painting.
Do you drive your grandson crazy with the camera?
We don't see trees like that up here in Eagan!
Birdman, no he thinks it's fun when I stop in the middle of the road to take a picture. He has gotten pretty good at watching to see if a car is coming! I had to be quick to get this one because of the morning traffic :)
The tree itself is a grand sight and with animals it's even better. Love that you and your grandson are on these spontaneous photo shoots together! Hope he, too, has a camera. My 9-yr-old granddaughter is doing a fair job with hers!
Oh the light and the horses are just gorgeous in this photo! This is what I imagine how it is down south...beautiful. Glad you took the time to take this photo ;D
Absolutely gorgeous Lois! Early morning photos always have this beautiful light.
What a beautiful photo! It is lighted and framed beautifully. Wow. This one is one to be framed and hung.
That is what is known as an idyllic scene. Just beautiful.
It is even prettier when enlarged. Have a great holiday weekend. Maybe there will be less traffic to dodge while shooting your pix.
A really idyllic picture Lois!!
Nice scene in your photo.
Regards!
It looks like a morning with a chill in the air and dew on the ground. I can dream right?
Gorgeous, gorgeous shot.
Lois, what a beautiful capture! Definitely worth dodging traffic for :o)
What a gorgeous rural picture Lois, the light is just perfect! and that sure is one unusual paint job in your last post, wow bet you don't see many cars like that!
