Much better to have a skateboard park than kids riding skateboards in places where they can run into people and endanger themselves. We even have a small skateboard park in Tamarindo, but that is likely because we do not have many paved streets where people cold ride a skateboard.

That's a nice skate park looks like boys will have fun playing on those bumps or slides around, like the wall shot as well. Hope they wont get hurt.

This looks lonely? Where are the skaters?

Skate parks are very cool!

I think the skaters must have been sleeping in! I took this picture in the morning and it was deserted.

back when we lived in san diego, i'd drop ashlyn off at school and take christian to the skate park in the mornings...it was so nice and peaceful at that time of day. just heard on the news that they built a new skate park but it's not near us...

Nice skate park, perfect for young boys and girls.

Your skate park looks better than our skate park but they both have something in common -- no people on bikes or skates or in bare feet.

It may be a little hot right now for using this skate park. I bet it gets a lot of use in normal times. :)

Great graffity wall! Nice to see it found an appropriate spot. (I wonder if the graffiti artists would get upset if someone sprayed graffity over their graffiti?!)

These places scare the dickens out of me, but the kids love 'em. I see the graffiti artists have been busy there, too!

We had a massive thunderstorm 2 nights ago, with a lot of rain, so all the skate parks in town are flooded, to the great annoyance of all the skating kids here. Maybe they should create some aquatic way of skating...
