Watery Wednesday

I was standing between the St. Marks Lighthouse and the Gulf of Mexico when I took this picture. Look closely and just beyond the bushes you will see someone fishing from the water's edge. If you click on the picture and enlarge it, you will also see some boats out on the water. Tomorrow I will show you the lighthouse, which was directly behind me. To see more beautiful watery scenes from around the world, don't miss Watery Wednesday.

St. Marks is such a beautiful place to observe nature at it's finest.

I bet the fishing is pretty good there too.

The boats are so tiny! But this is a really great view! Looking forward to the lighthouse photo! :D

I wonder if he ever caught anything ... I enlarged the photo and notice either he had 2 poles, or there is a fisherman hidden somewhere around!

It looks calm and peaceful.

Good eye Clytie! There was another fisherman, but he had gone for a swim in that beautiful water.

This must be a quiet place. Nothing quiet here, unfortunately.

I would guess there are some very nice beaches there, right? We must ride that trail! I think the Gulf is a beautiful body of water - especially from the Florida side...it's not near as nice off the coast of Texas...
